Fit Out & Renovation

Public and private organisations are continuously investing in development projects, and Fit Out companies are on-hand to turn these buildings into usable spaces for people to occupy.

Albeit a commercial building, office block, shopping centre, leisure facility, school or hospital, it is always a priority to ensure that people in close proximity are protected from noise, dust and fumes while the work is underway.

Understanding Your Challenges

With works often being carried out in live environments, it is important to ensure that the work area is fully contained and lined with acoustic barriers, and suitable extraction and ventilation systems are also in place. Not all sites are live though, and increasingly we are supporting with diesel exhaust fume control and ventilation during the construction of regional distribution centres, warehouses and shopping centres.

RVT offer a wide range of health hazard control equipment including; dust extractors, welding filters, Diesel Particulate Filter kits, negative pressure extraction systems, positive pressure ventilation systems, noise control barriers, acoustic enclosures, noise monitors, dust monitors, vibration monitors and a variety of tailored LEV solutions.

What our clients say

City Building Glasgow

Construction Manager

“CBC’s initial engagement on discussion of works allowed for both parties to agree on the best kit to enable works whilst not over specifying. The kit performed well and gave a secondary barrier to the amount of dust and noise created form the cutting of the slab and complied with the HSE Guidelines on dust and noise. We would recommend RVT for any future refurbishment jobs where there will be excessive noise and dust.”

Radius Shopfitters

Site Manager

“RVT had exactly what we needed. Without the RVT Fume Extraction Kit, the concrete pump could not be used as it would’ve generated exhaust fumes. The job was done efficiently and cost-effectively with the help of RVT.”

Vinci Construction UK Ltd

Senior Construction Manager

“We have found that the Soundex® quilts provide a significant noise reduction at source. Complaints from local residents have dropped locally so the product seems to be working well as a noise reduction solution.”

Integra

Project Manager

“I am pleased to say that RVT Group responded quickly and efficiently to the need. We had a situation in the middle of London where some air conditioning was failing due to an excessive heat build-up in the adjoining light well. RVT had some additional fans on site be 4pm on the same day, which averted a potentially disastrous situation. I would definitely use the company again; they also had technical advice available to meet the particular need”
