How do I open an account with RVT?

Please call 0808 178 3286 to speak to our business development team. They will take down some details to gain a better understanding of your requirements. They will then pass this information on to our customer service team who will set up your account. Please note that we run credit checks on all new customers.

How quickly will my order arrive?

If you are a UK customer and order by 2pm, you can benefit from next day delivery (some parts of the UK may be excluded from this). Of course, if you know when you need the equipment, you can always place your order and request a delivery date in advance. This is particularly pertinent in the winter, when indirect oil-fired heaters are in high demand.

Can I buy RVT equipment, or is it only available for hire?

Certain items are available to purchase, for example the Soundex Decibloc Curtain and the Soundex Decibloc Quilt. We do have other items available to purchase; please call us on 0808 178 3286 to discuss your requirements further.

Can I negotiate preferential rates for my business?

RVT’s hire rates vary depending on the duration of hire and the quantity of units hired. We are happy to set up a preferred supplier agreement with customers who meet a predefined minimum spend level. Please call us on 0808 178 3286 and ask to speak to our Business Development Team about a PSA.

How much does a site survey cost?

RVT offer site surveys completely free of charge, however a site visit is not always necessary. If the project is small we will be happy to discuss your requirements over the phone and send you a no-obligation quote for a health hazard control solution; however if the project is especially complex, we prefer to visit the site to ensure we are proposing the correct solution for the given environment and activities being undertaken.

Do RVT offer an install service?

If your site workers are familiar with the equipment you are more than welcome to install it yourself, however for the more complex projects, we do offer an installation service. The logistics can be discussed before you place your order.

What are RVT’s opening times?

Our office is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm. We do close for the winter period, between Christmas and New Year, however you will be given an out of hours contact number if you hire equipment across this period.
