We have been working in the health and safety field for over 30 years and have played an active part in developing innovative control measures to better protect people and the environment. We therefore believe it is our moral responsibility to share our knowledge around hazard control.
We understand the regulations and we understand the science behind effective hazard control measures, so we are perfectly positioned to raise awareness and help educate people on best practice. As such we offer a wide variety of online resources and in-person learning events.
We currently have 12 x courses approved by CPD UK Ltd – Each one will earn an attendee a 1hr CPD certificate. These courses can be delivered in person at your offices, via webinar, or via on-demand training video.

The events have collectively attracted over 2000 registrations, and are always free of charge to attend. The objective is to raise awareness of occupational ill-health, share best practice solutions, and take-away tangible actions to implement in the workplace.

We currently offer 14 online toolbox talk videos with a PDF handout (summary sheet). The videos are a maximum of 5 minutes, are visually stimulating, and summarise key topics, such as; working with solvents, maintaining safe airflow, protecting against silica dust, noise control briefing, welding fume control, and a guide to using LEV systems effectively.
Toolbox Talks
These documents are more in depth than our 5 minute toolbox talks, and so are ideal for team leaders and managers, who are looking for more detail on hazard control. We currently have over 40 whitepapers and guides for you to download.

Upon joining RVT, all staff complete an online induction which includes product training, H&S information, and an introduction to our processes and procedures. Once the online activities have been completed, their manager will provide them with a 90 day role-specific on-boarding plan. They will be transferred onto an ‘Annual Growth Plan’ (AGP), which enables staff to identify training and development areas. We also have an inhouse training manager who runs weekly product training sessions for all staff to join and ask questions.
Everyone at RVT is encouraged to undertake a minimum of 25 hours of CPD training per year, so that they can feel confident in their role and provide the best possible support to our customers.
Some of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) courses our staff have completed include:
