Key Features and Applications

The SOUNDEX® Maintenance Enclosure consists of a robust aluminium frame which is then covered with the acoustic housing. When not in use, the unit folds down to fit on a single pallet.

- Up to 33.6dB reduction in noise.
- 1.8m x 3.5m in size, suitable for narrow spaces.
- Fire, water and weather resistant.
- Product testing and certification: BS EN ISO 717-1 : 1997; BS EN ISO 345 : 2003; EN ISO 11654 : 1997.
- Various optional extras including internal lighting facilities, front access covers and lockable castors.
- Noisy remedial work such as floor replacement in shopping aisles, corridors, railway stations and other live environments.
- Enclosing generators and other loud machinery, maintenance or repair works such as cutting, welding, plant servicing etc.
- Acoustic shielding for standby or auxiliary equipment (e.g. generators, air compressors) in industrial facilities.
- Providing a quieter enclosed workspace inside sheds, repair bays or mobile maintenance units to protect personnel from high noise levels.
