Helping Protect Your People, Assets and Surrounding Environment

RVT Group supports aircraft hangar environments with temporary engineering controls designed to protect people, assets and ongoing maintenance activities. Our hire solutions cover dust, noise, fume, ventilation and climate control, helping teams maintain safe and controlled working conditions within large or complex hangar environments.

Dust extraction systems and local exhaust ventilation can be used to capture airborne contaminants generated during maintenance, repair and refurbishment activities, while acoustic curtains and enclosures help manage noise exposure. Industrial vacuums and environmental monitoring equipment can also support the management of dust, noise, temperature and humidity throughout the working environment.

Maintaining the right temperature and humidity can be particularly important within aircraft hangars, where cold conditions, excess moisture and condensation can affect workforce comfort, maintenance activities, coatings, equipment and sensitive aircraft components. Our temporary heating and dehumidification solutions can be combined to create controlled drying conditions, helping teams manage moisture, reduce condensation and support maintenance or refurbishment programmes throughout colder or wetter periods.

Aircraft hangars can be particularly challenging environments to control due to their large internal volumes, high ceilings and frequent opening of hangar doors. Rather than simply introducing heat into the space, an effective climate-control strategy considers temperature, relative humidity, airflow and the specific maintenance activity taking place. In some applications, targeted heating and dehumidification around an aircraft or defined work zone can provide a more practical solution than attempting to condition the entire hangar.

Planning temporary climate control early can also help reduce the risk of cold surfaces, condensation and excessive moisture disrupting planned maintenance or affecting sensitive equipment, components and finishes. RVT Group can assess the working environment and design a temporary heating, drying and air-distribution solution around the requirements of the project.

For larger hangars, RVT Group can design a temporary climate-control setup around the space and the activity taking place. This may include indirect-fired heating, dehumidification, cooling, temporary boiler systems, ventilation and air-distribution ducting to help achieve more consistent conditions across large working areas. Where additional ventilation is required, centrifugal and axial fans are available, including ATEX-rated options for suitable potentially explosive environments.

To support wider environmental controls, we also offer water treatment systems and settlement tanks for managing contaminated water, including solutions for pH correction and the removal of suspended solids or other contaminants before discharge.
