HEPA filters 99.97% of 0.3-micrometer air particles, meaning only 3 of every 10,000 particles make it through.

Designed mainly for low-toxicity dust, or where the system is venting to a safe area. Fine filtration acts as a protective layer when using highly efficient filters up to HEPA standard.
