Challenge: The previous contractor went into liquidation, resulting in the project being delayed by around 2 years before being handed over to Robertson. Internal works needed to be completed during winter months, so Robertson needed to raise the internal temperature to allow finishing trades to progress and get the project back on track.
Solution: RVT Group installed CLIMEX® Indirect Oil-Fired Heaters outside with flexible ducting running into the building. This was tailored to achieve a 12 degree temperature rise in each building, creating positive pressure with warm dry air circulating throughout the buildings.

Challenge: As part of the renovation works, new utilities needed to be installed which required running services (cables/pipes) through steel girders. The girders were encased in concrete which required removing to allow works to proceed on the girders beneath. The concrete removal process created large quantities of dust.
Solution: RVT Group installed two dust control solutions to manage the varying levels of dust in different areas of the project. One solution extracted dust directly from the area where cutting works were taking place whilst the other was used in the adjoining office to minimise the risk of harmful airborne dust particles impacting workers nearby.
