RVT Group is dedicated to protecting people's health on and near construction and demolition sites against hazards such as dust, fumes and noise with temporary-environment control. Our lawful basis for collecting and processing your information is that of legitimate interest:
1) to provide you with information that could help to protect the health of people affected by site activity,
2) to provide you with information that will help to protect the environment at large from dust, fumes and noise, and
3) to help us to grow our business.
The above interests were identified as a result of a legitimate interests assessment that we have conducted.
Collecting Employee Data:
If you are an employee, we may hold: your name, address, telephone number, email address, emergency contact information, medical information, remuneration details, ethnicity, gender, religion, survey responses, and performance reviews.

• support you in your role at RVT Group
• act quickly in an emergency
• remuneration
• ESG reporting
We may also collect staff photos, videos and testimonials to promote business growth.

Where your information is stored:
RVT use Microsoft’s encrypted cloud-based network to store documentation and information. Staff have varying degrees of accessibility depending on their role. All staff logins are password protected and have Microsoft’s dual factor authentication. The system is continuously monitored for security breaches by an IT consultancy firm.
Our ERP system holds information on a secure server within the UK (and so within the European Economic Area or EEA).
Our CRM system is a cloud-based system, hosted on Amazon web (AWS) in the United States East region or AWS Germany region, and follows the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.
We occasionally use an email platform called ‘Mailchimp’, which is based outside the EEA and their servers hold your information in the United States. MailChimp participates in, and has certified its compliance with, the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.
Keeping your information secure:
We have procedures and security features in place to keep your information secure once we receive it. For example:
- Our systems are password protected and dual factor authenticated.
- Our website has an SSL certificate and uses HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) coding on all its pages to help keep your information safe from hackers.
- All employees and anyone accessing data have to sign a confidentiality agreement.
- Employee records can only be accessed by directors and approved senior personnel within the company
- Users have varying degrees of access depending on their position within the company.
Disclosing your information:

This may include disclosing your information to other companies and organisations in connection with fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
