Where we came from
Back in 1993, we were a couple of engineers who knew a lot about fans and wanted to turn our ideas into a business. That opportunity came when we were approached by a company who were working on a basement project at MI5 in London and they needed ventilation. We assessed their requirements and recommended a ventilation solution; we then drew up a hire contract and "Rentavent" was born. Over the next two decades, we grew into the UK's leading supplier of dust, fume, exhaust fume, heating/cooling and noise control products, and changed our name to "RVT Group".
As we've expanded, we've opened new offices across the UK to ensure we can supply equipment to you quickly - wherever you are! In addition to our two offices in Dartford, we now have branches in Northampton, Chester, Sheffield and Scotland, as well as bases in Plymouth, Portsmouth and Hinkley Point.
Where we are going
RVT Group are an ethical company that genuinely cares about the long-term health of people and the environment. We are already supporting Skanska, Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall, Kier, Willmott Dixon, Bouygues, Laing O'Rourke and many more tier 1 contractors and their supply chain.

In 2023 we launched a brand-new ESG strategy to ensure that our operations remain environmentally sustainable and that our staff enjoy a great place to work. We also launched a brand new training programme called the RVT Academy.
In March 2024, RVT group were recognised as the 14th fastest growing company in Kent. Of course, although we are registered in Kent, our growth is very much due to our continued nationwide expansion. The 'MegaGrowth 50' league table calculates the percentage of turnover growth of privately-owned businesses registered in Kent which have a minimum turnover of £1million across the last four years.
