As part of our “Great Place to Work” (GPTW) campaign and to promote interdepartmental communication, we invited all RVT staff members to participate in a Wiii bowling tournament. Over 50 staff took part during the week commencing 18th March; we were divided into six teams and great fun was had by all.
Here at RVT we strongly believe that internal communication is the best way to improve service to our customers; however due to our rapid expansion, we have so many new faces around the building that it can be a bit daunting getting to know everyone. The bowling tournament therefore provided the perfect opportunity to break the ice and get to know people who we might not usually interact with during our normal daily activities.
The tournament was a great success; it encouraged team work and allowed some friendly competition amongst colleagues. The Captain of the winning team was Julie Swanborough from our Customer Service Team, pictured here with her fellow bowling champions! They each won a £10 Love2Shop gift voucher. Well done everyone and we look forward to our next GPTW activity!
