RVT Group & Tideway Collaboration

RVT Group was delighted to be asked to visit the Tideway Tunnel project to present our range of specialist equipment and explain the benefits that each piece brings in protecting site workers' health.

BAM Nuttall, Morgan Sindall and Balfour Beatty (BMB) are working together to deliver the west section of the Thames Tideway Tunnel, and are dedicated to ensuring their workforce and local residents are protected from the hazards and nuisances that the work may bring.

Excess dust, fume and noise are all prevalent on large scale operations such as this, so health protection must be a top priority when evaluating and monitoring site risks. Specialist equipment in the form of enclosures and shrouds help minimise these hazards, offering effective health protection to all nearby.

Equipment such as our Soundex E6/2 and E3/2 Cutting Enclosures, and the E7/2 Breaker Shroud can be quickly erected to provide standalone cutting and breaker zones which minimise harmful dust and noise hazards.

Protecting the health of site workers and minimising the disturbances to those nearby are key priorities for BMB, which we are pleased to help them achieve.
