2020 Event Rescheduled for 30th September 2021
10th September 2021Delayed But Not Cancelled!
Following several delays due to lockdowns and restrictions, the BTS Conference and Exhibition 2020(+1) is scheduled to go ahead between 30th September - 1st October. Hosted by the British Tunnelling Society, the event is the largest gathering of tunnelling professionals in the UK and is regarded as an essential date in the calendar for all those involved in underground infrastructure, from the design stage through to construction and operation.
With several high-profile tunnelling projects either recently completed or currently in progress, such as Crossrail, the Thames Tideway Tunnel, HS2, Bakerloo Line Extensions and LU Station Upgrades, London undoubtedly remains the tunnelling capital of Europe. Outside of London, with projects such as the Trans-Pennine Tunnel, Hinckley Point C Nuclear Power Tunnels and Stonehenge Tunnel, the tunnelling industry’s sights are set on the UK.
