£4000 Donated to Protecting the Environment

RVT Group are well-known for protecting people's health on site, but we are also passionate about protecting the environment. Our environmental strategy includes; working towards zero carbon emissions, offering environmental solutions to our customers and supporting environmental charities.

As such, RVT’s board of directors have generously donated £2000 to both The Rivers Trust and Rewilding Britain; two charities who are working tirelessly to protect different aspects of the environment.

The Rivers Trust is working to make their vision a reality; ‘wild, healthy, natural rivers, valued by all’. To achieve this, they are cleaning up rivers, removing fish migration barriers, supporting natural flood management projects, planting trees, working with farmers and restoring wetlands.

Rewilding Britain works on the large-scale restoration of ecosystems to the point where nature can take care of itself. The implementation of rewilding can help reverse species extinction, tackle climate change and improve our overall health and wellbeing.

We are immensely proud to support the vital work of these charities, along with several other charities that align with our corporate mission of protecting the long-term health of both people and the environment.

The RVT team pride ourselves on our sustainability and reliability and we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment.

We have made a considerable number of changes over the years but are also aware that there is still more to be done. Therefore, we will continue our work to reduce our environmental impact and achieve net-zero carbon emissions.
