Protecting People and Places: 2022 – 2032
14th June 2022In May 2022, the HSE released their new strategy which is designed to protect people and places over the next 10 years. The HSE explain that the new strategy is required so that they are able to adapt and respond to a changing landscape, ensuring it remains relevant in a time of growth and innovation. The external drivers for new HSE strategy include the introduction of new technologies in the workplace, the growth of the gig economy and the government’s commitment to the net zero agenda.

Here at RVT we are very excited about them becoming more collaborative, and we have already seen this relationship developing in groups such as the ‘Health in Construction Leadership Group’ (HCLG).
We have also already seen the HSE ramping up their marketing campaigns with a string of new “Dust Kills” campaign videos, and an abundance of Linkedin posts regarding MSDs, mental health and respiratory health.
The HSE have run two dust inspection focuses this year and we anticipate another one in October, so now is the time to ensure your site is 100% compliant.
