Michael Jordan once said, “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships”; and we firmly believe that the stronger we build our team at RVT Group, the better we can support our customers.
As such, we regularly arrange team building activities throughout the year, and this month we decided to take advantage of the weather and arrange a spot of team gardening.
Max Beardon, Operations and Continuous Improvement Manager, co-ordinated the event and commented;
“The perimeter was due a tidy up and the weather was glorious, so it made sense for us all to grab a pair of secateurs and enjoy a bit of sunshine! The gardening took place in two sessions; a 6am – 8am slot for the early risers and a 1pm-2pm slot for those who wanted to make the most of the sunshine.”
Phil Dupont, Director at RVT, added;
“I’m really pleased with the result; the perimeter is looking much neater and it was a great way to strengthen inter-departmental relationships and improve cross-functional collaboration. I think everyone enjoyed taking part, and of course, everyone was rewarded with an ice cream! Well done everyone!”
