Event open to HSE professionals across construction, utilities and manufacturing
6th September 2019The dangers of on-site or industrial noise is often underestimated and with an alarming 25% increase in noise breaches, decisive action is necessary across all industries.
On the 27th September 2019, RVT will be hosting an Action on Noise summit, featuring a series of talks and workshops focused on this often-neglected area. RVT's Tim Dupont states, 'This event will define the dangers and identify solutions. The panel of speakers will provide practical advice and up-to-date information for busy health and safety professionals to take back to their workplaces'.
Talks will cover the effects of hearing loss, the extent of the problem and the background behind the worrying increase in breaches. Speakers include specialists from RVT, Action on Hearing Loss, the Hearing Conservation Association, and O'Keefe, among others.
The day will kick off with a complimentary breakfast at 8.15 to prepare delegates for a full morning of discussion, best practice information and informed guidance. Interactive sessions will give guests ample opportunity to ask questions and to discuss the challenges that their organisations face.
The summit will take place at BMA House, within walking distance of Euston Station and Kings Cross Station – please note that there is no parking at the venue itself.
Registrations close on 16th September, ten days ahead of the event so please book quickly to avoid disappointment. Dietary requirements will be taken after registration has been completed.
