Dust Suppression: How To Control Airborne Dust During Summer

Construction sites are dusty, especially during the summer months. Discover how water suppression units can help to eliminate the health risks associated with dusty activities on site.

Once dust is in the air, it is tough to control. Dust, regardless of what it contains, has been identified as a possible cause of COPD. One of the simplest ways of managing the health risks associated with dust is to stop it from becoming airborne.

Airborne dust can be suppressed with a DUSTEX® Hydramist water suppression unit. The applications where you might consider using a Hydramist water suppression unit include; quarrying, demolition, construction, land remediation, waste handling, aggregate processing, recycling and mining.

RVT offer a wide range of water suppression units, which vary in size and can offer a throw of between 10m and 80m. Some units provide a very fine mist, whereas others provide a high concentration of water to suppress heavier dust particles.
