An Introduction to Water Treatment On Site

When carrying out construction work, the main contractor or landowner is responsible for any water that is to be moved or discharged from site. This presentation introduces the importance of water management on site, the regulations in place, and how we can achieve effective water treatment, minimising environmental impact.

You will learn the hierarchy of control as well as the most common water pollutants from site run off and the effects that these have on the environment. You will also be introduced to the types of solutions available based on current best practice and understand the serious consequences of non-compliance.
