In this presentation, you will learn about the extensive impact poor noise control can have on your long-term health. You will learn the shocking statistics related to poor noise control, the science behind occupational damage to your hearing, and experience what living with occupational hearing loss is like through an audio demonstration. We go onto explain how this damage can be prevented; we show how noise can be controlled effectively with the Capture, Contain, Control methodology and give examples of available and compliant noise control equipment based on current best practice.
