An Introduction to Health Hazard Control in Industrial Environments

In this presentation, you will learn the extensive impact poor hazard control can have when working in industrial environments, such as power stations, oil and gas refineries, waste to energy plants, manufacturing plants and sensitive manufacturing facilities. Through the use of typical industrial scenarios and real life case studies, we will outline how hazards such as noise, dust and fume can be contained by the Capture, Contain, Control® methodology. We will also provide examples of available and compliant hazard control solutions based on current best practice that will help to ensure functionality, safety and efficiency is preserved when working in industrial environments.

The learning objectives of this session are;

  • To learn the importance of health hazard control during industrial applications.
  • To understand how the 3C’s® methodology can be applied effectively to different hazards produced by industrial applications.
  • To understand the types of solutions available to control different hazards based on current best practice.

Attendees will receive a 1 hour CPD certificate upon completion.
