Monitor a wide range of parameters including pH, turbidity and temperature
Monitor key water quality parameters in real time
Quick to set up and manoeuvre as required
This highly sensitive monitor is designed to report on the quality of water in ponds, rivers and brooks etc. It can measure turbidity, suspended solids, pH and temperature, with further bespoke options available on request.
Data is constantly uploaded to a cloud-based platform, providing real-time graph views in a user-friendly interface. You can also download historical data at any time for records, or to prove compliance. If a parameter is breached, you will receive an instant alert by email and or text, so that you can take corrective action immediately.
How does it work? The body of the monitor sits on dry land, with hard-wired probes positioned within the water itself. The actual monitor is relatively small and so it is secured to a metal frame to keep it in position. The probe locations can be configured on-site to suit a range of different physical environments as necessary. This unit can also be used to double check water quality after site water has been cleansed, neutralised and discharged into a river under an Environmental Permit. This will not only give the site team peace of mind, but the data can also be used as evidence of compliance should any environmental questions arise. In this instance, it is recommended that one unit is installed upstream and another downstream of the site or discharge location.
Having this data readily available will help demonstrate to the environmental agency that you are taking your environmental responsibilities seriously.
