Heating Solution by RVT Keeps Veteran Village Project on Track

Case Study Overview

A ground-breaking development is underway to house and rehabilitate vulnerable veterans in Wilton, near Salisbury. The project commenced in April 2017 and will support more than 300 veterans. Once completed, the site will contain homes, an enterprise hub, créche, care home and retail units.

Challenge

Lack of heating and ventilation onsite became an increasing problem during winter. Joinery, decorating and floor laying was all delayed by low temperatures, and humidity levels had also encouraged mould growth around the site.

Solution

RVT’s Climex Indirect Oil-fired Heaters were the ideal solution for this project. RVT assessed the site and installed two 110kW units outside. These were attached to fans and ducting that pumped and circulated the warm air safely along the corridors.
