Bouygues UK were contracted to construct a brand new building to house the new proton beam therapy suite at the University College London Hospital. The suite is situated on level 5 of the basement, which is encased in 3m thick concrete.
During the project, cutting steel, unistrut, conduit and lengths of tray needed to be cut, which would produce excessive noise.
SolutionRVT recommended the Soundex Cutting Enclosure to effectively control and contain the excessive noise on site. The Monitex Portable Noise Level Warning System was also used during the project to ensure that the noise was controlled at all times.
