Dust Control During Extensive Redevelopment at Churchill’s War Office

This 580,000² ft building needed to be retained and extended, by adding 3 new floors, a new double-height basement, 125 5-star hotel rooms and 88 luxury apartments.

To ensure dust control whilst the cutting works for the structural alterations were being undertaken over most of the floor levels, in order to prevent dust breaking out into the corridors and other parts of the building.

RVT Group provided localised dust control during the cutting works. We recommended that each team used a Ventex Centrifugal Fan 300M and a Dustex WandaFilta Plus unit, to capture and control the dust at source while they were working. These control measures effectively stop the dust from breaking out into the corridor and other parts of the building.
