RVT Group’s Latest ESG Report Reveals a 6% Decrease in Emissions

Each year RVT Group release an ESG impact report to demonstrate the positive contributions we have made to people and our environment.

In 2024, we started working with Planet Mark to measure and report on our carbon footprint, and to produce a robust strategy to reach net zero. In 2025, RVT Group achieved ‘Planet Mark Certified – Business’ by setting our measurement boundary, reporting our measured carbon emissions, and committing to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 5% annually. Compared to the previous reporting period (2024), we reduced our market-based measured carbon emissions per turnover by 6.0%. In addition to this, we maintained our carbon neutral status by offsetting emissions via Carbon Neutral Britain and the Woodlands Trust.

Our ESG commitments are not just confined to the environment; we also have strong social and governance commitments too. For example, in 2025, we donated over £356,000 across 32 different charity’s and invested over £245,000 into staff training. We also continued to share best practice across the industry by; running 14 CPD webinars, hosting 2 ‘Action on Site Health’ conferences, attending 20 customer & industry events, actively supporting the HCLG, and delivering several new online educational resources. Giving opportunities to the next generation is also high on our priority list, and so we provided work experience to a number of local students - one of which is now a full-time employee.

We are committed to providing the best possible service to our customers, whilst also providing a great place to work for our staff. In 2025, we achieved a staff engagement score of 87% (based on the Great Place to Work framework). We also achieved a Net Promoter Score of 77% which firmly establishes RVT Group as a ‘excellent’ supplier according to NPS benchmarks. Customer feedback is really important to us, so we also run an annual customer survey. Here are some of the findings:

• 84% of customers say that RVT Group take the hassle out of hazard control.
• 93% of customers say that RVT Group are trustworthy, accountable and reliable.
• 91% of customers say that RVT Group deliver excellence.

In terms of governance, we maintained 13 existing certifications and obtained a new certification for Cyber Essentials. This certification confirms that we have implemented fundamental technical security controls to defend against the majority of common internet-based cyber threats.

We know there is still more to be done on our ESG journey, but we already have a lot to be proud of and a lot to be thankful for. We would like to thank our customers for continuing to work with us and supporting us in our mission to protect the long-term health of people and our environment.
