Creating Safe, Well-Lit, Work Zones in Autumn and Winter

As the clocks go back and daylight hours get shorter, make sure you have the right solutions in place.

Construction sites can be hazardous at the best of times, but as the sun begins to set earlier, this reveals yet another health and safety challenge.

With the clocks going back on the last Sunday of October, and the sun setting as early as 15:51 in December, you need to ensure that your pedestrian routes and work zones are well lit, to avoid any unnecessary slips, trips, falls – or worse.

RVT offer a range of stand-alone work zones with integrated lighting solutions. These ‘all-in-one’ solutions provide the following benefits:

  • You can create a well-lit work zone for cutting or other site activities.
  • The acoustic material reduces noise on site.
  • You can add a fume or dust extractor into your package.
  • The enclosures feature vents for dust & fume extraction.
  • The acoustic material is flame resistant, making it suitable for hot works.
  • There are different types of lighting available depending on your requirements.

You can build your own package, or ask us to build one for you:

  1. Select your enclosure
  2. Select your lighting
  3. Select your dust or fume extraction kit
