• Advanced Water Treatment & Process Optimisation: Experienced in coagulation/flocculation, nutrient removal, solids separation, filtration and GAC, and real-time control (RTC) for enhanced regulatory performance.
• Health, Safety & Risk Management: CSCS-qualified with training in occupational hygiene, DSEAR, COSHH, confined space awareness, and broader environmental risk controls.

• Supported a £14m Eel protection project by leading the temporary water treatment design and optimisation, supporting the installation of eel screens on a nationally significant abstraction point on the River Tyne.
• Delivered turnkey lamella, dosing, filtration, and monitoring systems for large-scale construction and shutdown projects at HS2. Provided technical assurance, compliance management, and stakeholder coordination across high-profile sites.
• Managed several drinking water treatment innovation trials and pilot plants, including Actiflo optimisation, reactive media research & development, filtration media replacements, and treatment efficacy studies - informing capital investment and operational improvement programmes.
• Implemented phosphorus, ammonia, and iron removal optimisation at Ambleside, Windermere, Northwich, and Stockport wastewater treatment works, achieving regulatory limits as low as <0.25 mg/L TP and 4 mg/L iron.
