Hire this ATEX Certified centrifugal fan to extract fumes, gases, dusts, and vapours from hazardous workspaces
12th June 2023RVT Group is pleased to announce that we have expanded our range of ATEX certified fans to include the brand-new Ventex® Centrifugal Fan 450S ATEX, which has an airflow of 20,000m3/hr. The unit is very similar to our original Ventex CF 450S unit, but the motor has been changed to a low voltage motor to comply with the European ATEX Directive (2014/34/EC) and can therefore be used in hazardous environments. The centrifugal design of this fan also means that the airflow does not pass over the motor, making it a suitable solution for safely extracting fumes, gases, dusts, and vapours.
This very powerful and mobile fan can maintain pressure over long duct runs, making it ideal for forced ventilation or extraction from projects based deep within tanks and vessels. The fan complies with the European ATEX Directive (2014/34/EC), making it suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
The fan has a quiet operation, high airflow, excellent pressure performance and centrifugal design to make it a suitable solution for a variety of applications, including dust and fume extraction and filtration.
Why is ventilation important on site?
When working in confined or enclosed spaces, such as basements, tunnels, pits and shafts, poor air quality can put the health of your workers at significant risk. Contaminated air can have an adverse effect on both your immediate and long-term health, and in the most severe cases, can be fatal. This is why RVT work with clients and contractors to ensure air quality meets current HSE legislation expectations, to protect people and the environment.
