The unit has 4 x 102mm extractor ports, suitable to connecting 100mm diameter ducting. The ducting can be further split into any number of extraction points depending on site requirements. The Clearblast 1000 contains an integrated HEPA filtration system. Filtration is provided by a cyclonic separator and cartridge filter system. Automatic pulse jet cleaning, powered from an integrated compressor (150 PSI), is carried out on an as-required basis during operation and as part of the shut-down process, making maintenance hassle-free.
The Clearblast Filter Unit must be used in accordance with the ATEX DIRECTIVE. ATEX Workplace Directive 1999/92/EC places the responsibility on the end-user to make a suitable risk assessment, particularly in the extraction of potentially explosive dust.
