COVID-19: Customer Announcement

Dear Valued Customers,

Following the recent developments surrounding COVID-19, I feel it’s important I provide you with an update on our preparedness.

RVT Group is focused on protecting health, and we believe that every life counts.

With this passion in mind, we have put in place robust Business Continuity Plans (BCP) which will help us to operate during this challenging time so as to continue to provide solutions to protect long term health for our customers on their sites.

All of our staff are aware of the guidelines on how best to protect themselves and others against this virus and measures are being put in place to facilitate home working as appropriate as per the Government’s advice.

Greater hygiene measures have been put in place to ensure the welfare of our people and the wider community.

With regard to our Technical surveyors and engineers working on your sites, we would like to reassure all our clients with the following measures we have taken to minimise the spread of coronavirus:

• Our technician staff have their own supply of hand sanitiser to use before and after entering your sites.
• For added protection, they wear a new pair of disposable gloves whilst on site.
• They will carry out their duties considerately with minimal disturbance to your staff and avoid interaction as much as possible.
• None of our technicians have travelled abroad in recent weeks and strict control measures relating to foreign travel are in place.

These measures are reviewed daily to keep up-to-date with the latest government advice.

As part of our BCP we have contingency plans in place if a large number of our staff be off at the same time and are well equipped to deal with this.

If at any point we believe these plans may impact the service we provide you, we will of course communicate this to you.

For those of you who have meetings arranged with a member of the RVT Group team we will be in touch to offer alternative ways of meeting such as video/conference calls.
