Extensive enabling works were required for gas, electricity and water diversions at Bond Street to support the Cross Rail Project.

Challenge

With works carried out at night and residents occupying high rise properties nearby, a high-quality sound attenuation solution was required. Noise monitors were also required to prove that maximum noise limits were not exceeded.

Solution

RVT provided bespoke SOUNDEX™ Mobile Enclosures to completely enclose the works and reduce the impact that noise levels might have had on those located on 2nd floor properties and above. Constant monitoring was also carried out at key locations and submitted to the council to prove their works were not exceeding the limits imposed on them.
