Cardamom Court offers 40 one and two-bedroom retirement living apartments, a communal residents’ lounge, landscaped gardens, private car park, a lift to all floors and 24-hour emergency call monitoring.

Challenge

During the construction of Cardamom Court, the need arose to speed the drying of plaster to ensure that subsequent work could proceed without delay to the project.

Solution

Gas heaters release moisture while heating, so would not have helped the drying process. RVT therefore recommended 150kW mobile indirect oil-fired heaters to provide continuous movement of warm, dry heat throughout the building. This would ensure that the walls would dry quickly and evenly.
