Bespoke Noise Control Solution Supplied for Woking Town Centre Regeneration Project

As part of Woking’s town centre regeneration programme, a tiled floor and screed bed in a busy shopping centre needed to be removed without disrupting nearby trade.

Challenge

Previous work on drainage diversions in the shopping centre had resulted in noise complaints, so it was vital that noise control measures were put in place to protect and satisfy both traders and shoppers.

Solution

RVT recommended a bespoke Soundex Acoustic Enclosure that completely encapsulated the working area and prevented noise resonating off the ceiling of the shopping centre. No further noise complaints were recorded during these works and site operatives and shoppers were effectively protected.
