As an ATEX approved unit, the D5 is certified and safe for in potentially explosive atmospheres and on projects where dust types could also create potentially explosive atmospheres including wood dust, metallic dust, flour dust and more.
Flexible ducting with a choice of capture hoods can be attached to the spigot on the side of the machine to extract dust while works take place, so your project doesn’t have to stop. The powerful 2,900m³/hr airflow means optimal performance, even over long duct lengths.
When connected to a distributor box with multiple spigots, you can extract airborne dust and hazards from various locations at the same time. Spark arrestors are available as an optional add-on for flame cutting and other hot works if necessary.
When used in conjunction with the Downdraft Bench, the unit can collect airborne hazards from grinding, sanding and other dusty bench-top activities and features a collection bin for easy disposal of dust without needing to handle it.
The unit's automatic pulse-jet cleaning system ensures that the filters remain clear of dust, allowing it to continue to operate at peak performance levels and eliminates the need to continually change filters or manually maintain the equipment.
