‘GBS’ is a bonus scheme, which offers staff a financial reward based on EBIT. All staff-members are enrolled onto this scheme when they join RVT Group. The scheme is intended to help staff understand their contribution towards business profitability, so they can help us make improvements in efficiency, which in turn benefits everyone.

In addition to the bonus scheme, the board of directors often organise rewards for staff, for example; hampers, meal kits or shopping vouchers. Promotions and salaries are reviewed regularly to ensure that those.

RVT Managers work with team members to create a tailored Annual Growth Plan (AGP) that incorporates role-specific training to enable staff to develop their skills and enrich their career. We have an extensive inhouse training programme (RVT Academy), but we also invest a huge amount into externally accredited courses.

We run two staff events each year which we call our ‘GPTW’ events - One is held in January to kick off the new objectives for the year, and one is usually held in the summer. The idea is to encourage cross-departmental networking & maintain good communication. We also run regular staff engagement surveys to gain feedback on how we can improve the working environment.

After successful completion of your probation period, you will automatically be enrolled into the pension scheme. You will also be given the choice to join our subsidised health insurance scheme.

We have a team of Mental Health First Aiders who organise health & well-being activities throughout the year. We also organise charity fundraising events for staff, such as photography competitions and ‘The Great RVT Bakeoff’. We also offer an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for anyone who requires access to additional support.
