Another £1460 Raised for Asthma + Lung UK.

The RVT Fundraiser

Throughout July we encouraged all colleagues to get out and about, or on the treadmill, to accomplish 5 Kilometres. Getting active is a great way to stay physically fit, but it also helps boost endorphin levels, contributing to positive mental health.

Everyone who participated in the challenge submitted screenshots of their chosen fitness app, and for some friendly competition, we would be awarding our top three athletes with £100, £50 and £25 amazon vouchers.

Over the course of the month, we had 96 entries, raising a total of £730! RVT’s Directors then generously agreed to match the amount staff raised, bringing us to a grand total of £1460 raised for Asthma + Lung UK.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK’s nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice.
