RVT’s 3rd Quarterly Donation
We were delighted to present our third quarterly donation to Action on Hearing Loss. Our customers helped us raise a fantastic £160 this quarter.
RVT chose Action on Hearing Loss as the charity to link to our customer feedback programme - a donation is made every time a customer completes our feedback questionnaire. This forms part of our ongoing work towards a world where the impact of site work on life and health is effectively zero.
It's estimated that there are 10 million people in the UK – one in six of us – that have some degree of hearing loss.
And the construction industry is a high-risk workplace.
According to the HSE, it's estimated that 20,000 workers in the UK suffer from work-related hearing problems.
Through donations received and their own fundraising activities, Action on Hearing Loss provides the care, support and advice that those suffering from hearing loss need. Vital funds also help carry out important research into cures and new technologies, with an aim of continually trying to improve the lives of those affected.
Tim Dupont, Marketing Director at RVT commented,
"Again, we couldn't be prouder of this third quarter donation to Action on Hearing Loss. Our customers' feedback has converted into hard cash that we know will go to good use. And so it continues - every time a customer gives us their honest and constructive feedback, we'll raise more money for this worthy charity.
Thank you to all our customers who have provided us with their feedback, it is much appreciated by us at RVT to ensure we keep bringing you the service and equipment you need."
