Breathe Freely, Edinburgh Event
The next Breathe Freely in Construction Breakfast Roadshow is to be held at Surgeons' Hall, Edinburgh on Friday 27th October 2017.
Following on from two successful roadshows earlier this summer, we continue to be the proud sole sponsor of these vital industry-awareness-raising and action-stimulating events.
Aimed at anyone who is responsible for the health and safety of construction site personnel, these events provide the knowledge and tools to ensure the health and wellbeing of site workers is protected at all times.
Construction is among the top five industries for deaths from COPD
Some of the most common substances known to cause occupational asthma are used in, or generated by, everyday construction tasks – isocyanates, solder and colophony fume, stainless steel welding fumes, and wood dusts.
Whilst awareness is certainly growing, the control measures available to combat harmful substances are still not as widely known.
Let's work toward changing this together.
Join us in Edinburgh to find out more and listen to speakers from BOHS, HSE and the industry talk more about the challenges faced, new developments in the pipeline and, importantly, how you can be better equipped to recognise and manage the risks on your construction sites.
Every life counts.
