RVT Group are pleased to announce that we are now offering the Aire Guardian Rigid Containment Unit for hire. This temporary containment barrier system is designed to provide a clean, professional and reliable divide between an active work zone and a critical environment.

The Aire Guardian Rigid Containment Unit is ideal for containing temporary construction and renovation projects in healthcare facilities. When used with a negative pressure extraction system, it will provide an air lock with either positive or negative pressure, therefore ensuring zero dust migration.

During demolition, construction, maintenance and refurbishment works, the concentration of airborne contaminants significantly increases and becomes an infection risk. Building materials such as plasterboard, cement and plaster produce hazardous dusts that can become airborne and trigger lung diseases such as Asthma. Patients who are immunocompromised are at an increased risk of infection by fungi, bacteria and viruses.

The standard kit creates a 3 sided containment unit (8ft x 2ft), that can easily be sealed against a wall and the ceiling, using the wall seal kit included. The unit also features an outward swinging door with keypad entry and an exhaust vent. The exhaust vent is 10inches in diameter, making it ideal for use with any of our dust extraction units. The lightweight polycarbonate construction and modular design also make it easy to take apart and move around site. This clean and professional unit is easy to install and will not leave any marks on walls. Thanks to its modular design, if you require a larger unit it can easily be expanded in width or depth with additional panels.
