Working in cold temperatures can cause serious risk to health

In the UK, the legal minimum temperature requirement for indoor workers is 16 degrees centigrade. Currently there is no legal minimum or maximum temperature when working outside.


Only the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 outline any kind of minimum requirement.
